By requesting service, the customer confirms that they own, manage, or are authorized to request work on the device, account, network, software, or property involved. The customer authorizes Tech Brothers to inspect, troubleshoot, configure, repair, install, remove, or test items reasonably related to the service request.
Computer service can involve risk of data loss, file corruption, failed updates, malware damage, storage failure, or other issues that may already exist before service begins. The customer is responsible for backing up important files, photos, passwords, licenses, business records, and other data before service.
Tech Brothers will make reasonable efforts to avoid unnecessary data access and will not intentionally review personal files beyond what is reasonably needed to perform the requested work.
Tech Brothers is not responsible for pre-existing damage, failing hardware, corrupted files, malware, unsupported software, account lockouts, ISP outages, cloud provider outages, manufacturer defects, or other third-party problems outside our control.
Pricing estimates are based on the information available before service. Tech Brothers and the customer will agree on the exact price before scheduling. Service pricing is never based on the duration of the visit. Payment may be made using any method accepted by Tech Brothers at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If Tech Brothers does not make meaningful progress toward solving the customer's problem during a service visit, Tech Brothers will refund the service fee paid for that visit. The guarantee covers the service fee only; it does not cover parts, third-party fees, customer-caused damage, issues outside the requested scope, or problems caused by services, software, hardware, or accounts outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Tech Brothers' total liability for a service visit is limited to the amount the customer paid for that specific visit or service. This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including gross negligence, intentional misconduct, or other rights that applicable law does not allow a business to waive.
We collect only the contact and service information needed to schedule and perform work. We keep service notes only as long as reasonably needed for customer follow-up, records, and business operations. We do not sell customer information.
